Geocell
Geocell is a cellular confinement system made from High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE). It is designed as a honeycomb-like panel structure that provides effective soil confinement and reinforcement.
Geocell is particularly suitable for slope erosion protection, ground stabilization, and retaining wall construction in steep areas.
Geocell is a cellular confinement system made from High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), designed with a honeycomb-like grid structure. It provides high tensile strength and is available with either oil-soluble PVC or water-soluble PVC coatings. The material is densely woven and stitched for additional reinforcement, providing excellent resistance to torsion.

Geocell Applications :
1. Slope Erosion Protection
Geocell is used to protect coastal areas and riverbanks from erosion. The honeycomb-shaped cells are filled with materials such as gravel, soil, or laterite and compacted to reduce water erosion and slow water flow along the slope. The surface can also be covered with grass or vegetation to provide additional soil and erosion protection while improving the appearance of the project area.
2. Ground Stabilization
Geocell is used to reinforce weak soil and improve ground stability in areas requiring high load-bearing capacity. The honeycomb structure helps distribute loads from vehicles and other heavy loads over a wider area, reducing localized settlement and deformation. This makes it suitable for roads, warehouses, and storage yards where a stable and durable surface is required.
3. Retaining Walls
Geocell can be used for retaining wall applications in areas with limited space and steep slopes, such as roads along canals or steep embankments. The cellular structure provides soil confinement and load support while allowing water to drain through the structure. Geocell is durable, resistant to chemicals commonly found in soil, and suitable for long-term use in retaining wall applications.
